FAQS
-
Puppies have a short window of time where they learn the best and the most about the world (2-4 months). Their core experiences during this time help influence them for the rest of their lives, so we want to work to ensure they are positive and educational.
Puppy socialization is crucial for your puppy to have a safe, healthy and happy life no matter the situation.
Establishing good boundaries and nice manners right now is much easier than later
Your puppy might be a mellow bundle of fluff right now but they won’t stay that way without some effort!

Socialization: We go over all the ways in which you can work with your puppy to get them well-socialized and build a solid foundation to work towards the adult dog you would like them to be.
Instilling Manners: We work on showing your puppy necessary manners like loose leash walking, attention, drop, sit, down, come, stay and impulse control.
Management: We create a custom management plan together to take a proactive approach to potty training and preventing problem behaviors, like chewing, nipping, biting, destroying things and anything you do not want our puppies practicing.
Independence and Confinement Training: We work on utilizing the crate to teach your puppies how to be independent, build confidence and a lifelong skill that can be utilized in many scenarios for your dog’s well being
Confidence Building: We go over confidence building exercises to help ensure your puppy develops the necessary confidence to take on new experiences in their environment. We also go over fear prevention exercises to work on so that your puppy does not develop any unnecessary fears or aversion as they experience a world that is all new to them.
Behavior Issues: if your puppy starts to show signs of excessive anxiety, barking or behavioral issues, it is important and beneficial that we address them now rather than later.
